Getting away for a study abroad program can be difficult. We understand that with work, school, and family sometimes there are just things you can't get away from for too long to participate in a long term program.
That's why we have our short term option. Study for 1 week. Study for 4 weeks. Study for however long you want to and can. We can build a totally customized study tour just for you with our short term programs.
Programs By Term/Semester Length
Short Term and Custom Programs
Single + Double Semesters (3 - 6 mo.)
Come to Taiwan and study with one of our Regular 3-Month programs. This is a very popular options with current University students looking for a better option to study abroad that doesn't break the bank. Regular programs are avaliable on all of our campuses.
Academic Year Programs (9 mo.)
Looking to really boost your language levels and become familiar with Chinese and Taiwanese culture? Our academic year programs give you the option to study for 9 months and really get into the language and culture. By the time you leave, you will most likely feel like a local.
Calendar Year Programs (12 mo.)
The ultimate option at MTSA. If you are serious about your Mandarin Chinese, want to experience everything there is about Taiwan and become a Chinese cultural expert, our Calendar Year programs will allow you to do so. Get ready to experience the most amazing year of your life living abroad in Taiwan, traveling to beautiful tropical island jungle locations and speaking fluent Mandarin.

Mandarin Taiwan is our name and studying Mandarin Chinese is our game. We are a study abroad organization based in Taipei, Taiwan that helps students realize their dreams of coming to Taiwan and studying Mandarin Chinese in complete immersion.
We offer comprehensive programs for Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter semester. We also have special 4 and 12 week Summer Session programs available for those looking for a short term study session in Taiwan.

Mandarin Chinese Immersion Programs
NTNU Programs
NTNU Mandarin Training Center, a subsidiary of National Taiwan Normal University, was founded in the autumn of 1956 for teaching Chinese as a second language. Currently, MTC is the largest and the most renowned Chinese language center, with around 1,700 students from more than 70 countries enrolled each academic quarter(three months.) MTC students come from different culture and language backgrounds.
NTU Programs
The Chinese Language Division (CLD) in the language center of National Taiwan University (NTU) was established in October 1984. Studying Chinese at the CLD in NTU is a great way to see progress fast. The teachers are friendly and professional, offering students a great learning environment.
NCCU Programs
National Chengchi University (NCCU) , located at the foot of Zhinan Mountain in the south of Taipei City , is one of the most prestigious schools in Taiwan . With an impressive backdrop and the Chingmei River running through its campus, the beauty and tranquility of NCCU makes it a perfect learning destination.
